Research - MBO “Makes the Difference”
Who developed the technology behind the “Perfect Water”? I was doing some research on the benefits of the “Perfect Water” and discovered the company who patented part of the technology. The name of the company is EAU Technologies. They developed the original bottled water “Perfect Empowered Drinking Water(TM)” in 2005. Their distribution channels were mainly grocery stores. In November 2007, EAU announced the completion of its sale of its consumer Perfect Empowered Water division to Perfect Water & Essentials, LLC. This company combined their proprietary technology of MBO (Molecurlary Bound Oxygen) with the existing benefits from the previous version from EAU Technolgies. The MBO proprietary process is what has been reported to give drinkers better balance, flexibility and strength within seconds of drinking the water. I am looking forward to hearing about the double-blind placebo tests.
I heard and read the information about Perfect Water . I was somewhat skeptical, but willing to research it and try it because a trusted and honest long-time friend was the one who introduced me to it .
Well 2 weeks ago I got my chance to be present for a demonstration and got lucky enough to be one of the few who actually got a sample . What do I think now after trying it ? — WOW . Wow, and every other positive adjective that one could imagine . I took the ‘Tip Test’ and other tests and after drinking ‘One Ounce’ I was significantly stronger . Significantly . It’s almost impossible to put into words . Three friends were with me and they got to try it as well . The verdict was unanimous . Wow! Everything they said it was and more . Stronger, greatly increased balance, and mobility in about ten seconds . Look-out folks cause this product will likely take-over the bottled water market, and then some .
I tried the water and it was like most bottled waters. It was refreshing but I am dubious about the other claims.
I’ve read a lot into Perfect Water. I myself have not been to any demos of it, but my most respected cousin, who I trust more than anyone did. Not only did he get too sample the water and have the tests performed on him, but he rmained skeptical so the demonstrators let HIM administer the tip test to a woman. After she drank the water, he couldnt budge her. He specifically went there to disprove the water, and came back after ordering two cases. I remain slighlty skeptical, not over the idea that the water temporarily improves strength, flexibility and such, but rather why it works, and what it could do over long-term uses.
A thought, our bodies our what, 98% water right? What if, slowly, perfect water builds up in our systems and replaces the normal water? What effects could consuming large amounts of the water have? They say its just water, but it can’t be. The water is tampered with at a molecular level,, from what I’m told the difference is that normal water has 56 molecules in …. i can’t remember, and ounce or something, and perfect water has only 5. I doubt that that is the only change made at the molecular level. I have been told that coca-cola and perfect water are the only two non-patented drinks in America. My resources tell me that perfect water samples have been sent to 15… or 18 different laboratories around the world and no one can reverse engineer it. This makes a valid claim for not getting it patented, but still leaves me skeptical because they are not legally bound to tell what else is done to the water. I don’t know much about the MBO, about as much that is said in the passage above, but it sounds like oxygen molecules are being altered to bond together. If there is one thing I remember from chemistry its that O, O2, and O3, are very different. One is in normal water, the other is in the air, and the last is in the ozone (respectively). I am completely convinced that perfect water temporarly increases flexibility and strength, but what does it do to our bodies at the molecular level, and what would happen if someone ovedosed, or what would happen if someone drank a “safe” amount for years and years? Obviously too much of anything is bad for you. People can die from normal water posioning, which would obviously be and insane amount of water and perfect water would not be lieable if some idot drank perfect water at a lethal dose for normal water. I’m definately curious and can’t wait to get my hands on a case for testing.
I was a bit skeptical/curious at first as well, but you have to see it to believe it! It really is quite a water in it’s league! I have gone to a function where products are showcased to consumers and one of the products shown was “Perfect Water.” I was told to do the tests: palm to the floor, the tilt test, and of course the strength test. I did my best showing average signs of my abilities, but when given a really small amount of Perfect Water things were a bit different. I could bend down lower by a 2 inches, my body could resist the tilt test, but most of all I COULD RESIST ON BEING PUSHED DOWN ON MY HANDS. I mean, you got this guy that weight trains A LOT and he was having difficulty pushing down on my hands. WOW. If you are really curious or skeptical like myself, go and hunt down anyone with this stuff and try it. All I can say is try it AND THEN say what you want to.
I have tried the Perfect Water and it has a VERY crisp, clean taste. It also seems to give me energy and helps me think much more clearly. I found it at the grocery store and decided to try it as whole brain radiation for breast cancer mets left me tired and in a brain fog all the time. I love it and now it is getting harder to find. My local Kroger used to carry it by the single bottle and now they stay sold out. I have ordered it from the companies website in the past but when I visit it now I can’t find the screen to order from. Does anyone know if there is a website to order from and can you direct me to that site? I am anxious to order more.
Thorsen, I’m sorry, but you’re an idiot. How dare you come on to a blog and suggest random negative implications about a product that you know absolutely nothing about. Why don’t you find a blog about Doritos and suggest that anyone who tries them is subjected to death because of the impure chemicals? All you know is that this product works, you have no proof or anything close to it that provides anything else. Did you mention the benefits of ionization the water provides? How about the health concerns of drinking a ’safe’ amount of tap water for years and years? You can’t possibly tell me that’s not an issue, and that this wouldn’t be a better option. As soon as reports come out that this water has been proven to be unsafe, I will then welcome your “I told you so.” But, until then, how about you keep your fingers off the keyboard and try enjoying life instead of hiding behind a monitor and bringing other people’s lives down.
I was skeptical when my daughter told me that after two sips they were stonger and more flexible. She said she saw it on stage at an informational meeting. I know the company behind the water so I was leaving my mind open. We waited for months for the water to arrive. I worried that it was over promised and under delivered which is not part of this company either. I had seen a tip test and thought…how did they do that. Finally the day arrive when my water was here. I tip tested someone and WOW. I could not tip them. Then they tip tested me. I was easliy tipped pre water. They could not budge me. I tried it before my workout yesterday and I felt amazing! Try it you will see!
I tried the tip test with 5 other people and it worked every time! One of the girls who is 6 feet tall did 7 regular push ups, said she couldn’t do any more, drank a few sips of the perfect water, and did 8 MORE!! She did some research on the product, and to answer Thorsens concerns, she found that you cannot overdose on perfect water like you can with regular drinking water. I am a distributor for this product, so I am very interested in the research and feedback from the general public and take the producers claims very seriously. I am excited about this new market and hope you all enjoy your improved hydration
I’ll add my $.02 worth here.
I’m not a scientist. I took one Chemistry class and one Biology class in HS. Most of it, I don’t remember. I’m just a plain ordinary joe like most people out there. So…can I explain how this product works? Not a chance. Can I demonstrate that it DOES work? Without a doubt! I’d never seen a product that I would put up against ANY other product on the market and personally endorse, until I saw this one.
I too was very skeptical about the water…after all, it’s just water, right? But you just can’t argue with results. I actually got my hands on two bottles of this product, prior to the nationwide launch last weekend. I went out and did approximately 30 hands-on demonstrations, on people from 12-year old athletes to a 78-year old stroke victim. NOT ONCE, did this product fail to produce results!
Out of 45+ demos that I have done to date, the results have all been great. I increased my reach on the stretch by about 4 inches and you can’t tip me over anymore. For basketball players and football linemen, this is a huge advantage. I was playing basketball on Monday and everyone kept telling me how strong I was. I finally broke down laughing and had to tell them it was the water that had increased my strength and sense of balance…some were skeptical, but they were all impressed with the results. The most impressive demo I have done, was the 78-year old stroke victim. Drinking a small amount of the water increased his stretch by 6-8 inches and kept me from tipping him over! Keep in mind here, that I am a 40+ year old guy that is 6′2″ and tip the scales at 225! I couldn’t tip over one of my friends that is 5′10″ and ~170.
If you are involved in a physically active lifestyle, if you are a competitive athlete, if you have medical problems that limit physical mobility, if you’re undergoing physical therapy…or you know anyone that falls into one of these categories, they need to try this water.
There are several benefits of this water that can’t be claimed legally, due to the fact that they don’t work for everyone, but I’ll tell you what friends and family members have told me. There are two large triggers to migraine headaches; 1) Too much caffeine and 2) Too little water. Friends of mine have told me that because the product keeps them hydrated better, they have few, if any migraines anymore. The other benefit I have been told about and experienced personally, is the relief of joint pain. My wife has scoliosis in her back. Drinking the water helps to hydrate those muscles, tendons and ligaments, letting them relax and thereby relieving the pain in her back. The stroke victim we demo’d for was practically doing jumping jacks, by the time we left his house.
Of course, results are going to vary…take mine with a grain of salt if you need to. But I can guarantee that it is going to improve strength, stability, flexibility, endurance and hydration.
I love how all these testimonials are the same and begin with… “I was skeptical” Just like every other review I have read. If it is so good and they have discovered something so amazing, why was it taken out of the retail market from the company who originally developed it and put into the hands of individual distributors. Think about it. Mona vie or any other scheme like this come to mind? I’ll keep taking my free bottles from the guy I have talked to but won’t pay a cent…. ha
I am half-marathoner that is moving into the marathon scene later this fall. After a 3 month layoff, I am back training for the Fall running season. Obviously, runners don’t benefit from steroids or other bulking drugs or supplements. Lactic acid control, endurance, stamina….all those good things that contribute to going farther, longer in a shorter period of time and with less effort.
I used the Perfect Water on a timed 5K run just to see an immediate difference and was astounded that I was 5 minutes faster! That’s pretty impressive. I am going to log the next few long runs 10Ks and 13 miles to mark any improvements. Still somewhat skeptical but now intrigued to see if there is an actual correlation. I say within next few runs because this would be without the expected improvements from a progressive training cycle.
I’m still not too familiar with this product, but having done some research on it recently I am not convinced of its claims. I am educated in the field of exercise physiology, strength and conditioning and body composition (nutrition) and this product just doesn’t seem to make sense to me. First of all, it claims that this water can be absorbed by cells much easier because it has been microstructured. Lets say that this is true. In this case, this product would be dangerous to intake due to the fact that it can cause hyponatremia or water intoxication. This will result in more water entering cells which can cause it to expand and burst. If this product is consumed in the same amounts as regular water by athletes during play, then hyponatremia is highly possible. Secondly, when they do the flexibility test to prove the product’s efficacy, I don’t believe that the increase in flexibility post-consumption is due to the product. Muscles have various properties and one of them is extensibility which is the ability to stretch. If the volunteers are pre-stretched before consumption, then this is the reason why they are able to bend much further than the first time. The acute effects of static stretching are both transient and most effective immediately after the stretch. I would be curious to see if the volunteers would be able to stretch the same amount after several hours of sitting or lying down with a constant intake of the product. I did not post this to reject anyone else’s views about the product, I’m simply putting out scientific facts which some people may find helpful. If valid research or new information becomes available about this product, please post it here because I would love to read it.
